Trafalgar Falls
The drive from Roseau to Trafalgar is about five miles from the city of Roseau. On approaching the village one can get the first view of the top of the Trafalgar falls cascading side by side. The taller waterfall which is sometimes referred to as the 'father' falls and the shorter falls is sometimes referred to as the 'mother falls'. |

| Fresh Water Lake
Dominica ’s largest lake, the Fresh Water Lake is found in the Morne Trois Piton National Park. Though the lake is said to be bottomless it is actually 55ft deep. The lake is now use for Kayaking and from the Hilltop area over looking the lake, the island's eastern coastline Can be seen. |

The Boeri Lake
On the north-easterly side of the Freshwater lake, you will find the Boeri Lake. At an altitude of 2,800 ft, it is the highest lake in the country. It is said to be 117 feet., deep and its almost circular surface covers an area of about four (4) acres. The lake is filled by rain water and run off. |

| Emerald Pool
The Emerald Pool is located in the Morne TROIS Piton National Park. It is a lovely cave of sparkling, refreshingly clear, cool water which is filled by a waterfall. |

The Botanical Gardens
Right in the centre of the capital city Roseau, Just 66 feet., above sea level is the Botanical Gardens of Dominica. It is home to about fifty (50) different types of trees and tropical plants. The Gardens receive approximately 85 inches of rainfall annually.
The Botanical Gardens has so far survived several tropical storms And hurricanes, including hurricane David in 1979. Some evidence of David's wrath may still be seen, as the remains of a large bus Lies crushed beneath the weight of a massive Baobob Tree. |
